Hannover Airport is an international airport located just 64.3 kilometers
west of Braunshweig. With many amenities for the traveler and frequent
connections to Braunschweig, it is the recommended airport for travel to INSS 2007.

Transport from Airport
Train
Upon arrival in Hannover, it is recommended to use train service to transfer
to Braunschweig.
From the Airport, a train leaves to Hannover Central Station or Hbf
(Hauptbahnhof = German for central train station)
every 6 minutes past the hour (05:06, 06:06, etc…) and runs from 5:00 to 24:00.
Cost of a ticket from the Airport to Hannover Central is 2,40 EUR and takes 17 minutes.

From Hannover Central Station or Hbf, there are two train options for transport
to Braunschweig Hbf. The trains depart about every half hour starting
at 04:47 and ending at 00:11.
*The InterCity (IC) Train costs 15,00 EUR and takes 34 minutes to Braunschweig Central Station.
*The local train (RE) cost 10,60 EUR and takes 46 minutes to Braunschweig Central Station.

Shuttle
There is also shuttle service available from Hannover Airport to Braunschweig.
The cost of this service is 44,00 EUR per person maximum.

Local Transportation
From Braunschweig Central Station or for personal travel during the conference,
you can use either a taxi service or public transportation to reach your hotel.
